Track Several Portfolios in One Account
If you invest for several children or follow different strategies, you don't need a second account for it. Trade Checker runs any number of portfolios under a single login, each with its own positions, its own return, and its own taxes.
One portfolio per child or strategy
Set up a separate portfolio for every child or every investment strategy, all under the same login. A CSV upload always lands in whichever portfolio is currently active, so you pick it once and import as usual.
Calculated strictly separately
Positions, performance, dividends, and taxes are calculated for each portfolio on its own. Your daughter's portfolio never shows up in your own portfolio's figures, and the other way around.
Filter by source within one portfolio
If a portfolio holds exports from several providers, say Trade Republic and a crypto exchange, you can narrow the analysis down to a single source. The same switcher that picks the portfolio lists that portfolio's sources below it. That way you see one broker's return without having to create another portfolio for it.
A combined view from the second portfolio on
As soon as a second portfolio exists, an "All portfolios" view is added: every position and figure combined, handy for keeping the total value across several children or strategies in view.
Create, rename and delete portfolios
A portfolio gets a name of your choice with up to 64 characters, for instance a child's first name or "retirement", and can be renamed at any time without touching the imported data. Deleting a portfolio also removes its imports, the positions and account movements derived from them and the uploaded files themselves. The last remaining portfolio cannot be deleted, because without one there would be no target for the next upload.
A shareable view without a child's name in the address
Which portfolio is currently being analysed is part of the page address, but as an identifier rather than a name: what appears there is a random string, never "Lena's portfolio". So you can bookmark a view or open it on a second device without carrying a child's name through the address bar. The portfolio still stays visible to you alone: on every request the application checks that the identifier belongs to your own account.
Nothing changes for a single portfolio
Switching happens through a single switcher at the top of the navigation, showing portfolio and source in one list; the resulting page can be shared as a link. If you only run one portfolio, you'll still see this switcher, but nothing else changes: everything stays exactly as before.
