getquin alternative: comparison with Parqet and Trade Checker

Trade Checker is a free getquin alternative if you want to analyse your portfolio from a CSV export and need IRR, TWR, a benchmark comparison, dividends and German tax logic without a subscription. getquin fits better if you want to connect banks and brokers directly, and Parqet if you prefer a mix of autosync and file import. The statements about getquin and Parqet come from the providers' pricing pages and product descriptions, status November 2026, and may change. Disclosure: Trade Checker was built by the author of this article.

What getquin costs and what the free tier includes

Premium costs 89.99 € per year and adds AI-supported analysis, personal dividend KPIs with forecasts, advanced performance analysis and a detailed allocation breakdown. Wealth costs 149.99 € per year and adds retirement planning, financial planning, custom financial goals and AI agents. Where Trade Checker works differently

Trade Checker connects to no bank and no broker. You create the CSV export at your provider and upload it, and the app recognises the format. It currently reads exports from 18 providers, 17 of them checked against a real export. In return, no metric sits behind a paywall.

The internal rate of return (IRR) and the time-weighted return (TWR) sit next to a comparison with the MSCI World, calculated with the same deposits and withdrawals. Dividend overview, fees and a tax report come on top. The tax report separates realised gains into a stock pot and an other pot and shows the advance lump sum (Vorabpauschale) as its own item. It helps you reconcile with the annual tax certificate, but it does not replace tax advice. You enter your saver's allowance yourself, and the app shows how much of it is used up this year.

What getquin does better

getquin has clear advantages here.

  • Direct connection. According to getquin, bank and broker accounts can be linked through interfaces to thousands of providers, and the portfolio then updates by itself. With Trade Checker you upload every new file yourself.
  • More than securities. getquin covers your whole wealth, with income and expenses, retirement and financial goals. Trade Checker only analyses portfolio data.
  • Apps and reach. getquin runs in the browser and as an app for iOS and Android, and its homepage cites over 500,000 users. That is the provider's own figure, which we have not verified.

Data protection and the provider's location

getquin is operated by QUIN Technologies GmbH in Berlin. By its own account, the provider collects only necessary data and relies on encryption. Anyone who connects a bank gives the provider and its interface partners access to account data, which is the price of convenience. Trade Checker deliberately avoids any bank connection: the app only sees the file you upload.

Who fits what

  • getquin fits if you want to see all your wealth in one place, connect banks and brokers automatically and accept an annual subscription for advanced analysis.
  • Parqet fits if you want to combine autosync for selected brokers with a broad file import and pay monthly for the tax dashboard and forecasts.
  • Trade Checker fits if you already have your broker export, want to manage without a subscription or bank access, and want IRR, TWR, benchmark and tax logic in one free tool.
